Online Video Continues to Grow
Online video continues to grow. Estimates show that over 137 million Americans watched video online in the month of December (according to Nielsen Online). With the growth of sites like YouTube, it is no wonder why so many companies are turning to video. One of the reasons I feel more companies are turning to posting videos to their website and to sites like YouTube is their cost efficiency. Companies can produce short video segments about their company, products and services for the web much cheaper than buying TV spots. Many of our clients who have years felt that TV was not a viable option, are now turning to online video. This a trend that will continue to grow in 2010 and in years to come. Videos for the web can be produced for reasonable prices, and when managed right can gain a large online audience.
